At the invitation of the Boumerdès Directorate of Training and Vocational Education, SOCOTHYD marked its presence at the 2nd Job Fair under the slogan
“From training to integration and creativity” , held on October 22-23, 2025, at the Martyr’s Memorial (Makam El Chahid) in Algiers.
This event brought together numerous companies, institutions, and job seekers around themes related to employability, vocational training, and integration into the world of work.
Tribute to October 17, 1961 — Memory and Dignity
October 17, 1961 remains forever etched in the collective memory of the Algerian people. On this day of reflection and commemoration, workers at the Socothyd Isser and Socothyd Bordj Menaïel industrial sites observed a minute of silence in tribute to the victims of this historic tragedy, perpetrated in the heart of Paris against peaceful Algerian demonstrators.
